About Sardek
WHAT I DO
When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them:
“Using the Performance Made Simple framework, I create heroes out of those who lead, train, and speak for a living.”
BUT WHAT I REALLY, REALLY WANT TO SAY IS....
I teach people to ask the questions that unlock the secrets to massive increases in productivity and performance.
I make people laugh by referencing the absurdities of everyday life that occur all around us.
I increase peoples’ performance by immersing them into mind-blowing experiences they never forget using cheap office stationary and candy that makes you wanna slap somebody for convincing you to put it in your mouth….
...because the more FUN I create equipping you with the skills and tools to maximize performance and impact, the more places I get to travel to and the more heroes I can create just like you.
MY STORY
I’m Sardek Love – and as you’ve probably already figured out, teaching leaders and those who coach and develop talent (while having some serious fun) is my thing.
People come to me when they’re tired of investing in training that never gets applied back on the job, working for managers who never seem to have enough time or the right skills to do a good job, or speakers who want to get off the revenue rollercoaster hopping from job to job. I work with them to implement simple systems and processes that make performance improvement nearly automatic. Systems that are easy, effortless, and enjoyable to use while producing measurable and lasting results.
No gimmicks. No marketing BS. Straight strategy, all results-driven. Tailor made for the busy professional that you and your team are.
Since 2007, I’ve delivered speeches and training programs that have equipped tens of thousands of professional managers, trainers, speakers, coaches, and consultants in 32 countries.
In 2018 I was cited by the Association for Talent Development (ATD) as one of the top 25 global Thought Leaders in Talent Development speaking at the International Conference and Exposition.
I teamed up with best-selling author Anne Bruce to write Speak for a Living Second Edition, which was published by ATD Press in October 2018. A regular on the international speaking circuit, I’m a frequent Keynote speaker at leadership, talent development, and personal growth and success conferences worldwide.
When I am not training leaders, trainers, and those who speak for a living to transform lives one soul at a time, I can be found…
...Traveling to places most people only see in magazines, on TV, or in the movies
...Cheering on my beloved Virginia Tech Hokies
...Laughing at the crazy things people do that show up on MTV’s Ridiculousness

…Or just looking for something to read in between flights, meetings, or bathroom breaks? Here are 7 additional facts about me…
My first name was inspired by Sardi’s, a restaurant in NYC. Yup…. a restaurant.
I was fired from my dream job. It put a capital “U” in suck for about 25 minutes. Then I got my 1st client for my yet-to-be-launched training and consulting business. Getting fired has allowed me to put a capital “U” in success ever since.
In 2010, while riding in a vehicle being driven by one of my client’s senior managers, we became lost in the Libyan desert for 30 minutes without any communication ability. I never went back after that life-transforming experience.
I’m a bit of a dog whisperer. They love me…probably because I scratch their hind parts and rub their bellies after the initial meet and greet that is inevitably followed by the sniff in inappropriate places.
As a young boy growing up in Mt. Vernon, NY I wanted to be a Greyhound bus driver. I fulfilled that dream sorta…I drove manual transmission charter buses for 5 years part-time…just for fun.
Nearly all the hilarious stories I tell in Keynote speeches and training programs are based on the absurdities I witness in everyday life.
People have called me Dr. Love all my adult life. I do not have a doctorate, and I hated being called that because it generally meant people couldn’t remember my first name. But then in 2008, a branding expert said, “Hey stupid, Dr. Love is a built-in brand. Go with it.” Kinda obvious, right? I know. I know. I'm human too. I fully embraced it from that point on…plus it gives me crazy cool bragging rights when I can get thousands of people at a conference to say “Dr. Love” in unison and send the video to my older brothers since I’m the last of 7 children.
